All you need to know about EF Ultimate Break
Who is EF Ultimate Break and Why You Should Travel With Them
EF Ultimate Break (EFUB) is a travel company that offers group travel for anyone ages 18-35. My sister is the one who introduced me to EF Ultimate Break in 2019. My sister has been to Greece, Venice, Florence, Rome, Germany for Oktoberfest, Belize, Ecuador, the Galapagos, and Egypt with EFUB. My first trip with EFUB was to Belize with my sister in 2019 and most recently the Greek Islands this past May.
So why should YOU travel with EF Ultimate Break?

- Safe and fun way to "solo" travel without being alone

How many trips have you planned in the group chat, that never made it out of the group chat? That was always my problem. I had so many places I wanted to go but no one that would commit and come with me, but then I found EFUB! The past trips I have been on the group size has been about 20-30 people and half of those people came by themselves. The group is large enough that you will click with someone else on the trip. I went to the Greek Islands without knowing anyone else on my trip and it was the best time ever and I made some really good friends that I still hang out with even after the trip ended!
EFUB has an app that you can talk to the other people going on your trip prior to the trip actually starting. This allows you to get to know the people on your trip, follow them on social media, and ask questions like how much money they are withdrawing and what clothes they're packing. Another great thing EFUB does to connect the travelers is hosting an included welcome dinner with all the people in your group the first night you arrive. This usually consists of trying different local dishes and getting to know the people you will be spending the next couple of days with along with getting to know your tour guide.
The interest free payment plan is another thing that I really love about EFUB. It is so helpful and if you plan your trip far enough in advance your payments can be around $150 or less every other week. This in my opinion makes traveling affordable and achievable.
Having a local tour guide is super helpful especially when visiting a country that does not speak English. Our tour guide told us which ATM's to use with the least amount of fees, told us which bars were fun to go to, gave us local food recommendations and so much more! Traveling with EFUB gives you the best of two worlds - doing all the touristy things, but also experiencing the country like the locals.
When signing up for a trip you can choose to have EFUB book your flights, or you can book your own if you have credit card points or whatever else. I find it's easier for me to let EFUB book my flights, but I always check the surrounding airports in driving distance to see which airport would be cheapest for me to fly out of. If EFUB books your flights, they will have someone at the airport to pick you up and bring you to the hotel, which is another nice thing about traveling with them.
Along with flights, EFUB hand picks your accommodations. Unless you upgrade your accommodations, you will typically share a room with 3-6 others on your trip. EFUB also handles all transportation including to and from the airport and to and from different cities, excursions, or attractions.
You also have the option to buy EFUB's travel protection for an additional $150. I highly recommend doing this! Travel protection covers you if a flight gets cancelled, you can't make it to the trip anymore, covid care, and other emergencies. In my case, I had fallen and severely hurt my ankle, our tour guide brought me to two different emergency rooms, and I did not pay a dime.
EFUB also gives you the option to add on excursions for an additional cost. These excursions are usually so much fun, but your tour guide will also set up some different optional excursions as well that are not listed by EFUB and these in my opinion are even more fun! On my trip to Greece, my tour guide set up an optional excursion to have a five-course authentic Greek meal from a local family. We got to try so many different local foods and learned about the family. The other optional excursions included a boat ride which was so much fun and a trip to Poseidon's temple and then to chill on the beach afterwards. If you can fit it in your budget, I highly recommend the excursions. There is also free time during the trips. Some trips have more free time than others, so if there is something that you really want to do in the area, then usually there will be time to do it. You can also ask your tour guide to help you set something up.
Now, to the Black Friday deals. EFUB always has sales throughout the year, but the Black Friday sale is typically the best.
